Once i was born, i messed up so much. i got another chance, got born again, tried to live a good life and found you. thats my story and i'm sticking to it :)

Looking up see a bird, wings spread

Moving round lots of space

Such grace, taking me to a place

To retire from this rat race

Sometimes i feel the need to be outside

Surrounded by all the elements

Breeze blowing all around me

Bring those clouds let them shower me

How i love the drops, just to fall on me

Feeling gentle as a kiss

From an innocent miss

In the midst of the mist

Makes me reminisce

About the pure bliss

And the peace of mind

That the great outdoors gives

Sometimes i feel the need to be outside

Sore Point

Walking arround moping.
Losing out on a great woman.
My heart and mind knows she's an awesome woman.
Beautiful, body soul and mind.
Intelligent and funny, oh how she puts a song in my heart.

Well love is for the giving and thats just what i'm gonna do.
I have too much of it to just keep it to myself.

I only have one concern,
What if the one she chooses dont make her happy?

In his song "Never love again", Anthony Hamilton says:
A man dont usually fall no more then twice
and if he does you'll never know cause he wont say,
for the fear of being fooled taken twice by the heart,
it's in his nature, to be afraid

Well I'm moving on echoing the words of a friend,
She's missing out on a great man.

In conclusion:
in giving and receiving
in holding back and being deprived
we must do something
we must love

Thoughts on Friends

I've just been thinking how blessed i am to be surrounded by quality friends.
It is a rare find, to have people in your life who not only consider you as their friend,
but also consider themselves as your friend. In these times we are living in, we all give to get,
but rarely do we give to give. I have been so guilty of that, and introspection led me to my book of words.

i search for the definition of friend
but because action speaks louder than words
i close my book of words for today
evaluating if i have been
or only expect you to be
so
conclusions to action
i'll be there
because i care

Got me thinking about how our people are in need

Am i part of the problem, or the solution

Am i a spectator or do i actually reach out?

Well, in my hand i am holding a song

The song in my heart is all i have

not to add to the problem

but to speak life

my tears show the tares
where my soul is ripped to shreds
pieces of a broken man
rebounding from rejects
the price i pay for honesty
honestly
makes my mind refer to alternatives
and yes it hurts
'cos consequence is unavoidable
i turn to my book of words
where tears traces memmories
of better days and happy songs
so please
allow me to feel
when my hope gets deferred
and my dreams seem fleeting
if i showed you my tears
and exposed all my fears
am i less of the man
you expect me to be?

My first day blogging, realised the need to add words to the sea of words that are out there already. Hopefully mine will inspire.
Had an awesome weekend away and it made me think about family. I now know that family is more than genealogy, it is community and so much more. More than birthright, it is acceptance.
I love God, Life and People.
