Outside

Blue skies up above me

Cloud come closer let me hug thee

Red rose sweet aroma

Let me breathe thee

Green grass be my bed

In the daytime rest for my head

Looking up see a bird, wings spread

Moving round lots of space

Such grace, taking me to a place

In my mind

To retire from this rat race

Sometimes i feel the need to be outside

Surrounded by all the elements

Breeze blowing all around me

Bring those clouds let them shower me

How i love the drops, just to fall on me

Feeling gentle as a kiss

From an innocent miss

In the midst of the mist

Makes me reminisce

About the pure bliss

And the peace of mind

That the great outdoors gives

Sometimes i feel the need to be outside

Surrounded by all the elements

Where else but the outside

will i be free like a bird in the sky

Where else but the outside

will i see you walking by

You brighten up mother nature

like the sun brightens up the sky
